On Sunday we finally got to visit the Moonlight Rollerway, the roller skate rink we drive by every day in Glendale. It was Tom’s friend Augusto’ birthday, and he rented out the entire place! Unfortunately Tyler was a little too small to wear his own skates, but that didn’t stop him from having fun…
He loved getting down to the disco music…
We weren’t allowed to hold him while wearing skates, so we had to take turns watching him while the other skated 
Tyler loved to lean over the rail and watch and wave at the skaters, especially dad.

I like Rapture by Blondie, but they need to put on Barracuda by the Wilson Sisters. That’s old school, yo. Electric Avenue by Eddie Grant is good, too.

Pretty soon he’ll have those roller shoes, and every day will be like a trip to the rink!
