It’s hard to believe our not-so-little Sumo turned a year and half old on July 12. This past month emerged an obsession with all things trucks (especially dump trucks), and his vocabulary grows more and more each day. He continues to imitate everything we do – from clopping around the house in our shoes to emptying out half a box of kleenex to “clean” the table. At his 18 month doctor appointment, he came in at 26 lbs (50% percentile) and 34″ inches tall (90% percentile!!). He’s friendly, outgoing, and has no problem walking up to other kids, especially if they’re older, and giving them a big smile.
Tyler is not free from his share of hijinks…last weekend he put mom’s cell phone inside the watering can on our patio…filled with water of course. After searching high and low, it wasn’t until 3 days later that Tyler reached in and “revealed” the dead, water-soaked cell phone to our shock (and mom’s secret happiness since she wanted a new phone anyway
